Manufacturing Engineer

JOB DUTIES:

1、Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify opportunities to implement improvements following Lean philosophies

2、Investigate and solve manufacturing problems through the continuous improvement process and problem-solving tools

3、Manage manufacturing floor layout to maximize efficiency and flow

4、Working with Suppliers and Vendors to develop safe, efficient and cost-effective Assembly systems to produce quality products

5、Providing  Technical Support, Machine Integration, and Programming changes to PLC Logic Controllers, and Misc. Assembly and Test equipment

6、Administering the assembly New Product Introduction (NPI) process to ensure that Engineering drawings are released and processed on time for NPI build.

7、Supporting Engineering Change processes, Warranty reduction, and Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve Safety, Quality, Velocity, and Cost metrics.

8、Training new processors and developing training programs for Processors and Assemblers.

9、Investigating and Engaging in creative problem solving / brainstorming / collaborative  cross-functional projects to address operational issues including:  ergonomic/ safety, efficiency improvements, process bottlenecks, quality concerns. 

10、Supporting Maintenance, Contractors, and Suppliers with Troubleshooting, Repair, and Programming Changes to machines and tooling 

11、Designing,   developing and implementing the integration of manufacturing systems including factory control software, work order, assembly time standards, scheduling techniques, simulation and systems application. 

12、Coordinating, planning, monitoring and reporting the activities associated with the flow analysis, design, financial modeling and implementation of complex manufacturing group technology cells in an assigned area.

13、Providing manufacturing technical support in process control and internal certification.

14、Coordinating the purchase and application of machine tools, controls and related equipment corporate wide to ensure the latest technology is being used to  increase efficiency and economy of operations. 

15、Support new product introduction

16、Attend Engineering Change reviews

17、Lead safety, quality and system improvement projects

18、Create and update standard work, safe operating procedures, SFMEA’s, PFMEA’s and control plans

19、Drive root cause corrective actions and implement solutions

20、Support capacity planning and layout change initiatives

21、Value stream mapping analysis and optimization

Basic Qualifications:

1、3+ years manufacturing related work experience, preferably in assembly and test processes with factory productivity enhancement experience, automated work orders, efficiency monitoring, data collection, etc)

2、Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing engineering-related discipline (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering)

OR

3、10 + years' manufacturing related work experience, preferably in assembly and test processes with factory productivity enhancement      experience, automated work orders, efficiency monitoring, data      collection, etc)

4、Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate's degree from a trade/apprentice program

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

1、5+ years Remanufacturing engineering related work experience

2、Familiar with company policies and procedures with a strong manufacturing engineering department background

3、Able to build strong relationships with various stakeholders

4、Thorough knowledge of Engine design and Fuel systems.

5、Experience with Autodesk, AutoCAD, PTC,

6、Factory   Automation, Capital Equipment, and Manufacturing Machine Integration project experience

7、Thorough knowledge of manufacturing concepts

8、Good written and oral communication skills


EHS SeniorAssociate

In this second-level Environmental/Health/Safety Associate position youwill build a working knowledge of Caterpillar and the products, technologies,processes, services, and systems related to specific job assignments.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain facility Environment/health/safety/Security management systemeffective to support daily operation in compliance with government andcorporate requirement

* Complete environmental/health/safety/security reports for review andsubmission per local government & corporate request

* Environment/health/safety/Security risk assessment and drive continuousimprovement

* Lead facility environment/health/safety/security self-audit and externalaudit to meet related regulations

* Responsible for ISO14001 & ISO45001 external audit and improvement

* Lead facility Environment/health/safety/Security daily operationincluding training/incident investigate/continuous improvement/best practicesharing implement etc.,

* Responsible for Government related affairs communication effectively anddealing different challenge in right way

* Responsible for company/enterprise EHSpolicy/work cascading and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

* 3 to 5 years environmental/health/safety experience, with Relatedprofessional Safety Certificates.

* High ability to begin work independently

* Ability to apply theory and concept

* Ability to communicate effectively

* Fluent speaking English

* Bachelor degree or above

Job Responsibilities: Control Compliance, Inventory & Accountable Expense Analysis

Internal Control Coordinator Role:

He or She should oversees theorganization's compliance techniques, functioning as an objective body thatreviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization, helpdrive improvement and drive change.

Accounting role:

Inventory Reporting & Analysis ; AccountableReport Support  for ExpenseAnalysis(Operation Only) and Headcount Report

ICC role requires candidate have highcuriosity about business and related policies and procedures, goodcommunication skills, positive, prudent, can do attitude.

The accounting tasks ranges from low tomedium complexity.

Accountants will continuously learn throughtraining and experience. Learning at this level will focus on methods,processes and systems applied to accounting, developing communications skillsand building knowledge of Caterpillar’s businesses, products, suppliers andcustomers.

Desired Background/ Experience:

Position requires a 4-year degree,preferably in Major Accounting or Finance.

Must demonstrate strong ProjectOwnership/leadership, initiative, inter-personal skills with Positive attitude.

ICC, Inventory or accountable workingexperience are desired.

Knowledge of corporate procedures &policy, new tech such as Python, Power BI/APP/Automation are preferred.

CPA/CMA preferred.
